I fell in love yesterday.
I fell in love with these two incredibly talented, heartfelt, soulful women…Genevieve Russell and Christine Grace Gonzales.
We spent hours together that passed as though they were minutes. Time disappeared. None of us felt time moving on. We were totally present to one another, heart to heart and soul to soul.
We spoke only of Love and Our Lady.
They are documentary filmmakers working on a project about women/wholeness/spirituality.
The plan was to meet at the San Miguel Chapel at the Santa Fe Carmelite Monastery and film for an hour or so. Four hours or so later….we still had more Love to speak of. However, the demands of our lives’ schedules said we were done.
We shared ceremony and prayers. We shared life stories and soul stories. We shared tea and other gifts.
I am transformed from this meeting of souls. Grateful, ever so grateful… for such a transformative experience.
And, I am reminded:

Giving Thanks that these women inhabit our world. It give me hope for our children and grandchildren, for future generations.
