The biggest reason to do an embodiment practice at this point is to remember how to be human, how to feel again, all the feelings not just the good ones, but how to grieve, how to rage, how to celebrate in an embodied, grounded way. All of that is in the body and we have to reclaim our humanity.
Chloe Goodwin
Chloe has been a committed student of the 5Rhythms™ for over 20 years, and an accredited teacher of the practice for over a decade. She is a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker, artist, and continuous learner.
The movement spaces she cultivates are grounded in somatic sensibility, embodied inquiry and realness. She leads with heart and humor. Her facilitation calls on music as a medium, movement as an ally, and community as a catalyst.
Chloe is a white, able-bodied, cisgendered woman, dis-oriented in gender and sexuality binaries. Descendent of Russian Jews and people of the British Isles, she is a 4th generation Anglo Santa Fean, living in relationship with place originally colonized by the Spanish, ancestrally and currently home of the Pueblo People. She is shaped by having lived off and on as a U.S. Citizen in Mexico from ages 12-25.
